Ep34: The 2024 Rookie QB Chase, Magic Johnson Cutouts & Flyer Critiques

Welcome back to Wicked Good Pulls! In Episode 34, things kick off with a bit of technical troubleshooting as Mike battles a nasty microphone echo, leading you, Matt, and Mike into a quick debate on "cancel culture" and when enough is truly enough. Once the audio is dialed in, the brothers dive into the modern card market to break down the highly anticipated 2024 rookie quarterback class, taking a close look at the hobby potential for Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and Caleb Williams. The nostalgia hits hard midway through the show when the guys reminisce about spending their own money on a life-size Magic Johnson cardboard cutout at the legendary New England music store, Strawberries. The crew also touches on the lasting hobby value of Barry Sanders and the timeless appeal of the "Mamba Mentality". As the episode wraps up, the brothers battle through some choppy Wi-Fi to brainstorm the Pullee of the Week—temporarily rebranding it the "Wicked Good Tugger"—and ruthlessly critique a very busy promotional flyer for an upcoming November 10th card show.
