Kadıköy to Moda Istanbul 4K Walk 🇹🇷 | Crowded Bar Alleys, Bahariye & Moda Sahili

Join me for a 4K walking tour from Kadıköy pier all the way to Moda, following one of the most alive routes on Istanbul's Asian side, from crowded market alleys and packed bar streets to the sea at sunset. The walk starts at Kadıköy iskele and heads straight into the çarşı: narrow alleys full of people, fish stalls, coffee shops and street food. From there we move through Kadıköy's pub and bar streets, including the umbrella-covered alleys where the tables spill out across the pavement and every seat is taken, and then out onto Bahariye Street, the wide pedestrian avenue where the nostalgic tram runs. Then the mood changes completely. We cross into Moda — quieter streets, old apartment buildings, garden cafés — passing Limon Lokal and Kemal Usta Waffles, the oldest waffle shop in Moda, on Moda Caddesi. The walk finishes at the water. We visit Tarihi Moda İskelesi, the historic Moda pier built in 1916 by architect Vedat Tek, which was restored and reopened in 2022 as a public library and book café right over the sea and then walk Moda Sahili in the evening, where thousands of people sit on the grass with tea and simit and watch the sun go down over the Marmara.
