Birding California Fall 2013 Part 3 (Pelagic Trip Day)

This video covers Oct 1, when we go on a pelagic trip from Monterey. Sadly, this is my last video with footage from my videocam, since it malfunctioned permanently here. (The last 2 parts will be a combo of slideshow and a few clips filmed with my camera = Canon 7D, which was not good to film with) To make matters worse, we were in a smallish boat (this was a pelagic trip dedicated to birding) and the swells were rather energetic, so the footage isn't good. As usual, I have put in plenty of photos to show how the birds really looks. Apart from quite a few Humpback Whales we saw Black-footed Albatross, Pink-footed & Sooty & Black-vented Shearwater, Common Murre, Rhinoceros Auklet, Red-necked Phalarope, Pomarine Jaeger and an assortment of different gulls in different ages.
