Laser Sailing from Detroit Yacht Club

Follow along as I rig and launch my Laser from the Detroit Yacht Club sailing center, then sail up the Detroit River toward Lake St. Clair. From the boat, I point out several landmarks along the Detroit shoreline before returning to DYC and de-rigging. At the end, I reflect briefly on the opportunity—and challenges—of keeping the boat at DYC, and look ahead to trailer sailing and preparing for my first ILCA 7 race campaign.
