I had some hands-on time with the new Pixel Watch 5. This is the brand new Google Pixel Watch 5 and after spending some time with the watch, it is almost definitely going to be the best smartwatch for android users this year. Google added a ton of new features, useful gestures, and improved key health and fitness aspects of this watch. They also managed to fix two of my biggest complaints with modern smartwatches. If this sounds like I am hyping it up, that’s because I actually really like what Google is doing here. They feel like the only brand actually innovating in the smartwatch space these days. For example, they added insulin resistance detection, blood pressure monitoring with no calibration needed, tons of new gesture integrations, actually useful AI features that aren’t just slop, and it remains the fastest charging smartwatch - getting a full day’s charge in the time it takes to shower.
