WHEN HEAVEN GIVES THE SIGNAL — The Three Sounds of His Coming

What will announce the moment when the Lord descends from heaven? In 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18, Paul describes three extraordinary sounds accompanying Christ’s descent:  The Shout — The Lord Himself gives the command.  The Voice of the Archangel — A heavenly voice is heard.  The Trumpet of God — The trumpet sounds and God’s people are gathered. In this message, Pastor Debi Selib takes a closer look at these three often-overlooked elements of one of the Bible’s most powerful passages concerning the Rapture. What does the Greek word behind “shout” tell us about Christ’s authority? Is the archangel Michael? What does the Bible actually say—and where should we be careful not to speculate? What is the significance of the trumpet of God, and what did Paul mean when he wrote that we will be changed “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye”? Most importantly, this message reminds us that biblical prophecy isn’t meant to leave God’s people living in fear. Paul concluded: “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Our hope isn’t merely that something is going to happen. Our hope is that SOMEONE is coming. His name is Jesus. There is a shout coming. There is a voice coming. There is a trumpet coming. But most importantly— THERE IS A KING COMING. — Pastor Debi Selib YouTube Hashtags #WhenHeavenGivesTheSignal #Rapture #JesusIsComing #ReturnOfChrist #BlessedHope #ThreeSounds #TrumpetOfGod #TheShout #VoiceOfTheArchangel #1Thessalonians416 #1Thessalonians4 #EndTimes #BibleProphecy #ChristianSermon #PastorDebiSelib #JesusChrist #SecondComing #ReadyForHisReturn #MeetTheLordInTheAir #ChristianTeaching #BibleTeaching #FaithOverFear #JesusSaves #HopeInChrist #KingIsComing 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up?
