Welcome to Episode 4 of our New Zealand Road Trip Series! 🇳🇿🚗 Our incredible New Zealand road trip continues as we leave Rotorua and head towards Taihape, exploring some of the most spectacular natural wonders and scenic landscapes this beautiful country has to offer! Our first stop is the famous Pūtōru Geothermal Geyser in Taihape, followed by a fascinating cultural experience at the Māori Arts and Crafts Institute, where we get a glimpse of traditional Māori culture, arts and craftsmanship. Next, we visit the incredible Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, one of New Zealand's most famous geothermal attractions. The highlight of our visit is the breathtaking Champagne Pool, famous for its vibrant colours and extraordinary natural beauty. It's truly a place you must see to believe! Our journey continues towards the magnificent Lake Taupō, but not before making another spectacular stop at Huka Falls. The unbelievable turquoise-blue colour and powerful flow of the water make this waterfall one of the most beautiful natural attractions in New Zealand. And then comes Lake Taupō! ❤️ Its mesmerising blue water, enormous size and stunning surroundings make it one of the must-visit destinations in New Zealand. But the adventure doesn't end here! We then hit the road towards Taihape via the legendary Desert Road, undoubtedly one of the most scenic driving routes in New Zealand. Endless beautiful landscapes, wide-open roads and snow-capped volcanic mountains alongside the highway make this drive an unforgettable experience. A true paradise for road trip lovers! Finally, we arrive in Taihape and check into a lovely, cosy motel for a relaxing night.
