DCAA Overview and Audit Process

This presentation will provide an overview of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), including their responsibilities, duties, and their audit process. The types of DCAA audits that can be performed throughout the various phases of a contract will be discussed. Participants will learn the importance of adequate assertions, scheduling entrance and exit conferences, communicating throughout the audit, auditor site visits and requests for information.
