Ten Men, Still Beaten Man Utd 0 1 Manchester City Premier League

Manchester United were left frustrated by a controversial VAR-awarded goal as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to ten-man Manchester City. Phil Foden's first-half red card for kicking out at Bruno Fernandes reduced City to ten men, and United dominated large spells — Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo both struck the post. But Erling Haaland's hour-mark finish from Gvardiol's cross, initially disallowed, was awarded after a lengthy VAR review despite Enzo Fernandez's apparent offside involvement in the buildup. United pushed hard for an equaliser — Bryan Mbeumo went closest, denied twice by Donnarumma — but there was no way back. A hard one to take, controlling much of the game with the extra man and still losing. Focus turns to the Carabao Cup, with Brighton & Hove Albion visiting Old Trafford on Wednesday evening. 🎧 New Full Time Bars track every matchday. 🔔 Subscribe for Leek Town, Millwall & Man Utd — every ground, every story.
