Fusion of Egger-Bahn & Joe Works | HOe Narrow Gauge Layout Build [German-Japanese Classic Tribute]

This video showcases the making of an original HOe narrow gauge layout base handcrafted by Narrow Gauge Shop. Playlist →    • Egger-Bahn Lineage & Joe Works Heritage – ...   It merges the creative worlds of the legendary 1960s manufacturer Egger-Bahn and the renowned Japanese model maker Joe Works, both pioneers of small-scale narrow gauge layouts. Every structure — the engine shed, warehouse, and station building — was scratch-built from the ground up, combining the nostalgic charm of Egger-Bahn with the refined craftsmanship of Joe Works. The result is a truly unique German-Japanese hybrid layout, bringing two historic traditions together in one scene. The track plan was inspired by the classic layout documentation “Workshop IX” featured on Egger-Bahn.de, and reconstructed as a respectful homage with a modern interpretation. We deeply appreciate the individuals who have preserved and shared these historical materials. Through this handcrafted layout, we hope to capture the essence of Egger-Bahn’s timeless motto — “a compact world full of dreams.” 🎥 Related Videos: 🔗    • Bringing the Legendary Egger-Bahn Back to ...   🛠 Product Details Frame size: approx. 1213 × 613 × 65 mm (≈47.8" × 24.1" × 2.6") (W × D × H) Scale: 1/87 (HOe / HOn30) Track gauge: 9 mm Minimum radius: approx. 150 mm (≈5.9") Track: PECO flexible track for OO-9 / HOe, Code 80 (SL-404) Turnouts: PECO OO-9 / HOe, Right Hand Turnout (ST-405), Left Hand Turnout, Code 80 (ST-406) Structures: Basswood / Craft paper / Cork (platform) Power Pack (8 × AA batteries): Forward/Reverse switch + speed control knob Includes polyfuse (short-circuit protection) 📌 Shop (overseas) 🔗 https://ngs.handcrafted.jp/ 📩 For inquiries: narrow_gauge_shop@ae.auone-net.jp 📖 Narrow Gauge Shop Blog: 🔗 https://www.narrow-gauge-shop.com/ #EggerBahn #JoeWorks #NarrowGauge #HOe #ModelRailway #ScratchBuild #Handcrafted
