Can we farm Lavender???? homestead income source?

From the beginning the plan was great, but I did not account for my lack of knowledge of the local climate, unexpected situations and my lack of farming know how. The best advice I can give you is to have your land ready to plant prior to purchasing your lavender. First the weather this year kept the ground unworkable till June!!!!! then I did not have the right equipment to work the land, next I had to wait for neighborly help......all the while I was struggling to keep the lavender alive in less-than-ideal conditions indoors and in a greenhouse that apparently, I also did not have the right idea on how they work! I dont regret any of It.....we made a huge move mid life to change our situation and even though it gets frustrating at times we all should expect issues when doing new things......
