S4R - Back When We Small (Official Audio)

There was a time when happiness didn't need much. An old football. A dusty road. Friends waiting outside. Mama calling us home when the sun went down. We didn't realize how precious those moments were until they became memories. “Back When We Small” is a deeply nostalgic Jamaican Reggae song about childhood, family, old friendships, and the simple moments that remain with us long after we've grown. Built around gentle one-drop rhythms, warm melodic bass, mellow Rhodes, vintage Hammond organ, and delicate guitar melodies, the track creates an intimate atmosphere for its soft, reflective male storytelling. Through familiar images of neighborhood football games, Sunday food, rain falling on the roof, and family gatherings, the song remembers a childhood where the world felt enormous even when life was simple. As years pass, people move away, familiar streets change, and the voices we remember become increasingly distant. But some places never truly disappear. They remain alive in our memories, carrying pieces of who we used to be. We can't return to those days. But we can carry their warmth wherever life takes us. 🎧 One Life, Many Riddims — Jamaican Reggae • Afro-Reggae • Roots & Dub | S4R #S4R #BackWhenWeSmall #NostalgicReggae
