Scheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov, Arr. Barbara Brundage - Lever Harp - Season 6: 173 / Salvi Hermes

My Harp Journey 173: Themes from "Scheherazade", composed by Nikolaj Rimsky-Korsakov, arranged by Barbara Brundage. 12 September 2026, ca. 5 years and 10.5 months since I started to learn the harp. In this video I play Salvi Hermes, a 40-string, lever harp. The video and sound are recorded by iPhone. This piece has been one of my big goals for a long time! This year I have started to challenge myself to try more pieces with lever changes from simpler changes to more complicated changes step by step. Now I feel less anxious about lever changes! (It is a little pity that some strings got out of tune after lever changes. Since there is a technical issue with lever regulation, I had to retune during the piece. But I hope you can enjoy!) Sheet Music from Sylvia Woods Harp Center https://www.harpcenter.com/product/br... "Classics on Request Vol. 2" by Barbara Brundage You can download each piece separately or the whole book as PDF. She has arranged many classical pieces for lever harp!
