I Wanna Go

“I Want to Go” is about wanting to attend school, wanting to learn, and wanting the same opportunities as everyone else — but still not being able to cope with school itself. It’s about school avoidance, anxiety, sensory overload, masking, pressure, and the difference between “I don’t want to” and “I can’t.” If staying home was easier, why does it hurt this much? I wrote this to help explain something that can be really hard to put into words, and hopefully make anyone going through something similar feel less alone.
