Moody blues

Moody Blues | Slow, Heavy Blues Improvisation on a Rainy Sunday Rain against the window, a guitar within reach, and nowhere to be. This is a completely improvised slow blues: no arrangement, no second takes, just whatever came out in the moment. I wanted something dark and heavy, a blues that takes its time and lets the notes breathe, with the pauses doing as much work as the phrases. Nothing was prepared in advance. It’s just me and the instrument, following the mood of a grey afternoon. For me, improvisation is about listening as much as playing: you let one phrase suggest the next and accept wherever it leads. Some ideas land, some wander off, and that’s the honest part of it. If you’re having a slow, rainy day of your own, I hope this keeps you company for a few minutes. 🎸 Fully improvised, one take 🌧️ Recorded on a rainy Sunday afternoon If you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what this blues made you feel.
