Rama Rama – Rishab Rikhiram Sharma | Official Music Video | OUT NOW After the overwhelming love and countless requests following my performance at the Ramayan trailer launch (Pratham Sankalp), I humbly present to you “Rama Rama” - a timeless melody and my heartfelt offering of devotion. Inspired by timeless stories of love, faith and the bond between the Lord and His devotees. Shabari’s devotion to Lord Rama is a beautiful expression of this bond. She waited for years with unwavering faith, preparing for the day He would visit her. In a beloved popular retelling, when Lord Rama finally arrived, she offered Him berries, tasting each one first to ensure it was sweet. Lord Rama lovingly accepted her offering, recognising the sincerity and devotion behind it. Her story reminds us that the simplest offering, made with a pure heart, can hold the deepest meaning. Another cherished devotional tradition connects Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and the sacred land of Braj. Hanuman was carrying Mount Govardhan to help Lord Rama build the Ram Setu. Before he could reach the ocean, the Vanara Sena had completed the bridge. Instructed to set the mountain down, Hanuman placed Govardhan in the Braj region. Govardhan was deeply saddened to have missed the opportunity to serve Lord Rama. Moved by his devotion, Lord Rama promised that in His incarnation as Shri Krishna, He would return to Braj and lift Govardhan Himself. The promise was fulfilled when Shri Krishna lifted Govardhan Hill on His little finger for seven days and nights, sheltering the people and cattle of Braj from Indra’s torrential rains—a gesture of divine protection and enduring love. Near Govardhan Hill lies Kusum Sarovar, a sacred lake in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Traditionally associated with Radha and Krishna, its flowering groves evoke their divine presence. “Kusum” means “flower”—a fitting name for a place where natural beauty and devotion meet. From Shabari’s patient love to Govardhan’s wish to serve, these stories share a simple belief: sincere devotion is always received. I hope “Rama Rama” brings you a moment of peace, a feeling of connection and space to lose yourself in devotion.
