Setcast turns a recorded DJ set into an audio-reactive video ready for YouTube. Give it the audio, a tracklist and background art, and it renders a 1080p MP4 with a now-playing panel, deck indicators and visualizers that follow the music. This video plays one excerpt of a set through all 11 built-in themes, about 30 seconds each. The card at the start of each part names the theme and describes its look. Themes: 00:00 sterile-tech 00:30 escapement 01:00 long-exposure 01:30 bristol 02:00 patina 02:30 quicksilver 03:00 bunker 03:30 vfd 04:00 interference 04:30 pirate 05:00 afterhours How it works: Everything in a set is an event on one timeline: track changes, drops, breakdowns, buildups, rewinds. Themes react to those events in plain CSS. A modulation matrix maps bass, mids, highs, onsets and the beat onto CSS custom properties, so any visual property can follow the audio. The set is described in one YAML file. Themes are CSS, so most customization needs no code. Visualizers: spectrum, radial, meters, oscilloscope, vectorscope, spectrogram and a whole-set overview. setcast analyze drafts drops, breakdowns and the tempo from the audio. setcast chapters writes YouTube chapters, setcast still makes the thumbnail, and setcast clip cuts promo clips around the drops. 16:9 and 9:16 vertical output.
