2004 Ford Focus idle air control valve

2004 Ford Focus 2.0 liter, dual overhead cam. Easier way to remove and replace idle air control valve. Disconnect negative terminal, remove two bolts holding valve body in place. Carefully slide valve body to left and then snake it down the open area where the connector was originally. Tilt body down and slide it down. You now have access to get both hands for connector removal. To replace, get two 5mm cap screws about 1 to 1.5" long, cut off the heads to where you just have studs. Screw the studs in the manifold holes loosely for removal purposes. Once these are in place, remove top stud and insert your cap screw and tighten lightly to keep valve body from rotating. Now remove bottom stud and insert capscrew and tighten to specified torque. Now you can attach your electrical connection on the other end with ease. Lot easier this way people! Good fixin'!
