BRISSON LEADS THE AHL IN POINTS? 17 POINTS, ONE-YEAR DEAL, WILL HE GET A CALL? LEAFS NEWS

Brendan Brisson's two-point night in the Toronto Marlies' 5-1 win over Hamilton moved him past Laval's Luke Mittelstadt for the AHL lead in points, with 17 (nine goals, eight assists). He is tied for sixth in the league in goals and tied for tenth in assists, so the lead is a sum, not a category title. Brisson was drafted 29th overall in 2020 by Vegas, traded to the Rangers on March 6, 2025 along with a third-round pick for Reilly Smith, and signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Maple Leafs on September 4, 2026. This video reads the 17 against his Henderson, Hartford and NHL numbers and gives an opinion on what it does and does not prove. — SOURCES — Inside The Rink, Marlies recap and Brisson's season and career numbers (via syndication): https://www.yardbarker.com/nhl/articl...
