According to the standard of God, no man was sinless. Ps 130:3, Rom 3:23. God's intention for sending Jesus was that Jesus would bear the condemnation of the world on Himself and restore His relationship with man. 2 Cor 5:19. When men put confidence in the sacrifice of Jesus to justify them instead of their works, they are granted the priviledge to stand guiltless before God. Romans 5:1, they receive peace with God. Therefore, man is assured of a relationship with God, not because he is good, but because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The grace of God is greater, than the sin of man (Rom 5:8), hence anyone can be made right with God. Rom 3:20. He came for the sinners. He dealt with a multitude of sin. Prov 17:9. His sacrifice was effective enough to sanctify the sinner. Col 1:21-22
