JLG 600AJ manlift basket rotator rebuild. NOT as hard as you would think, let's do it!

The basket rotator on my JLG 600AJ manlift failed, so I had to dive in and attempt a repair. This is one of those deals where you are afraid of it because it's a "black box" that most people just send off to get repaired. (like an automatic transmission) I didn't want to cough up that kind of money so I dug in and fixed it myself. Once you get into it and understand how it operates, it's not scary at all! I'm still staying away from automatic transmissions though... those contain black magic and gypsy tears.
