Preacher: Stephan Museler Sermon Title: When God is Not Taken Seriously Sermon Text: Psalm 14 Propositional Statement This sermon on Psalm 14 emphasises humanity’s universal sinfulness, the need for God’s salvation, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. The message explains that people often reject God in their hearts, leading to corruption, oppression, and spiritual emptiness. Despite humanity’s guilty condition, God offers refuge, grace, and restoration to those who trust Him. The preacher highlights that salvation cannot come from human effort, religion, self-improvement, or worldly systems, but only through Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, died for sinners, and rose again to bring forgiveness and righteousness. The sermon concludes with a call to examine one’s heart, seek refuge in God alone, and receive the salvation offered through Christ, ending with hope, joy, and the promise of God’s transforming grace.
