[Intro] Romans chapter eight, verses one through nine. [Verse 1] In Christ Jesus there is no condemnation, No judgment hanging over those who belong to Him. They do not live according to the flesh, But according to the Spirit. [Verse 2] The Spirit gives life in Christ Jesus, And through Him I have been set free From the rule of sin and death. [Verse 3] What the law could not accomplish Because of human weakness, God accomplished through His Son. He sent Him in human likeness, And through sin, He condemned sin in the flesh. [Verse 4] So the righteous requirement of the law Can be fulfilled in us, As we refuse to live according to the flesh And walk according to the Spirit. [Chorus] Walk in the Spirit, Not according to the flesh. Walk in the Spirit, And live in Christ. [Verse 5] Those who live according to the flesh Set their minds on fleshly things. But those who live according to the Spirit Set their minds on the things of the Spirit. [Verse 6] A mind controlled by the flesh Leads to death. But a mind governed by the Spirit Brings life and peace. [Verse 7] The fleshly mind stands opposed to God. It does not submit itself To God's law, And it cannot do so. [Verse 8] Those who remain in the flesh Cannot please God. [Verse 9] But you are not living in the flesh. You are living in the Spirit, If God's Spirit dwells in you. And if anyone does not have The Spirit of Christ, That person does not belong to Him. [Chorus] Walk in the Spirit, Not according to the flesh. Walk in the Spirit, And live in Christ. [Outro] No condemnation in Christ. Life and peace through the Spirit. Walk in the Spirit.
