Canal locks, Fort Augustus

The barge Ros Crana going through the canal locks at Fort Augustus on a rainy day (09 June 2025). Alongside the Ros Crana is a cruiser Magnifique 605 from Le Boat. Fort Augustus is at the west end of Loch Ness and has a series of locks allowing vessels to climb to the higher water. These vessels are travelling west (climbing upwards). You can see Loch Ness in the distance as the camera points rearward of the boats.
