Wonders of Scotland's West Coast

We continue our journey through Scotland with an unforgettable drive along its spectacular west coast, surrounded by mountains, lochs, and seaside villages. Our first stop is the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, where we watch the Jacobite Steam Train cross one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes—a sight made famous around the world by the Harry Potter films. We also visit the Glenfinnan Monument and discover the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie. We then travel toward Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis, stopping along the way at the ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle. After exploring the town, our journey continues through the breathtaking scenery of Glencoe and Bidean nam Bian. Next, we arrive in Oban, known as the Gateway to the Hebrides. We explore its lively harbor, sample fresh local seafood, and enjoy sweeping views over the bay from McCaig’s Tower. Our day ends in Inveraray, on the shores of Loch Fyne, where elegant white buildings overlook the water and the magnificent towers of Inveraray Castle rise above the surrounding parkland.
