Joseph surprised Val with a marriage proposal in the rain at Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, near Paris. Kiss Me in Paris planned and produced their evening. Val thought they were attending a private château tour and cocktail reception. A vintage Rolls-Royce brought them from Paris. During the tour, Joseph slipped away. A violinist began to play, and four ballerinas led Val toward the gardens. Joseph was waiting among blue and white hydrangeas. A jazz trio played as he proposed, and firework fountains lit the garden after she said yes. A horse-drawn carriage ride and portraits inside the château followed.
