Making Pens: Bamboo, Reed, Handam, Kamish or similar types.

Assalamualaikum lovely people! Let us have a closer look at a method of making Arabic Calligraphy pens. In this video we are going to discuss general rules regarding the making of any type of reed or bamboo pens. It does not matter which one you are using; the method of making a pen out of bamboo, handam, reed or any similar type of wood is the same. You need to be careful though; using a cutter with certain types require skill and strength. Please ask for help if you think it is hard for you to do them on your own.
