Join me on a summer day in Bulgaria as I explore Sunny Beach, take a fun little train ride towards Nessebar, and wander through the ancient streets of the Old Town. Along the way, I visit two of Nessebar’s historic churches — the Church of Saint Sophia and the Church of Saint Stephen — and discover some of the history behind these incredible places. And just when I thought the evening couldn’t get more interesting, I came across a Buddhist ceremony happening right on the street, with chanting and prayers for prosperity.
