Jesus, Help Me Begin Again | Morning Prayer for Forgiveness and Restoration

Begin this day with a heartfelt prayer for forgiveness, restoration, and the courage to begin again. If you are carrying regret over something you said, a decision you made, or a promise you failed to keep, you do not have to hide from God. Jesus already knows your story, and His mercy is still reaching for you. This morning prayer reflects on Peter’s failure and restoration. Peter denied Jesus beside a charcoal fire, but his story did not end there. After His resurrection, Jesus met Peter beside another fire—not to shame him, but to forgive him, restore him, and call him forward again. 🙏 In this prayer, you will ask God to: • Help you confess your mistakes honestly • Receive His love and forgiveness • Break free from shame and condemnation • Make right what can still be repaired • Learn from failure and change harmful patterns • Take one faithful step forward • Trust that God can still give your life purpose 📖 Bible passages for today: Psalm 103:10–12 John 18:18 Luke 22:61–62 1 John 1:9 John 21:9–17 Your failure may be part of your story, but it does not have to write the ending. Through the grace of Jesus, you can rise with humility, walk in wisdom, and follow Him again. 💬 If this prayer speaks to your heart, write “Jesus, help me begin again” in the comments.
