DAY 6 | KARGIL TO LEH | LADAKH RIDE 2026 🏍️🏔️ Our Ladakh Ride 2026 continues with Day 6 — Kargil to Leh, a ride filled with breathtaking landscapes, high mountain passes, spiritual places and some of the most unique attractions on the Leh–Kargil Highway. Starting from Kargil, we ride towards Leh, crossing some incredible landscapes of Ladakh and making stops at some iconic locations along the way. 🏔️ What We Explore on Day 6: 📍 Namika La Pass — one of the major high-altitude passes on the Kargil–Leh route. 📍 Fotu La Pass — one of the highest points on the Srinagar–Leh road, offering spectacular Himalayan views. 📍 Lamayuru — The Moonland of Ladakh 🌙 — famous for its dramatic, barren and moon-like landscape. Lamayuru is officially described as the “Moonland of Ladakh.” 📍 Sangam Point — the beautiful confluence where the Indus (Sindhu) River and Zanskar River meet. 📍 Gurudwara Pathar Sahib — a revered Sikh shrine associated with the visit and legends surrounding Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The present gurudwara commemorates the sacred stone connected with that tradition. 📍 Magnetic Hill 🧲 — the famous stretch where vehicles appear to roll uphill when placed in neutral. The apparent “magnetic” effect is generally explained as an optical illusion caused by the surrounding terrain, rather than an actual magnetic force pulling vehicles uphill. And finally… 🏁 LEH! After riding through the dramatic landscapes of Ladakh, we finally make our way towards Leh, marking another unforgettable chapter of our Ladakh Ride 2026. This isn't just a motorcycle journey — it's about the roads, the mountains, the people, the unexpected moments and the memories we create along the way.
