This video shows you how to install a strut bumper and boot on your 2009-2015 Honda Pilot. The strut boot protects the strut damper from intrusion by water and debris, and the bumper protects the strut when it bottoms out. If the boot or bumper have worn out on your strut assembly, you should replace them.
This repair was done on a 2011 Honda Pilot EX 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
