Every parent wants their children to be loved, appreciated, confident, and successful. But what are the qualities that make a child stand out, and how can parents develop those qualities from an early age?
In this video, we discuss three important qualities that can have a powerful impact on a child's personality and relationships:
1. Give children opportunities to speak and express themselves. Instead of always advising, correcting, or lecturing them, give them the time and space to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and everyday stories. When children feel heard at home, they become more confident in communicating with others.
2. Teach children empathy and consideration. Children learn by observing their parents. When they see kindness, sharing, care, and consideration at home, they are more likely to develop the same qualities in their own lives.
3. Protect children from سوءِ ظن (negative assumptions). Children often learn how to think about others by observing the conversations and reactions of their parents. Avoiding unnecessary suspicion and teaching children to give others the benefit of the doubt can help them develop a more positive and understanding personality.
When these three qualities become part of a child's upbringing, they can help build a personality that is confident, caring, understanding, and pleasant to communicate with.
