THE KENDLE DEFENSE CORE! 🔥 Top Teams Tested

🛡️ ATTACKING WITH KENDLE IS ONE THING… TRY GETTING THROUGH HER ON DEFENSE. Warriors, we're back with Part Two of our Kendle Teams series, and this time we're switching sides of the battlefield. We've already explored some of the strongest Attack Teams we've found with Kendle. Now comes the real test: HOW DO YOU BUILD A KENDLE DEFENSE THAT THE ENEMY DOESN'T WANT TO FACE? After testing different combinations across Trains, Wars and Arenas, three configurations are currently standing out — and all three reveal something extremely important about how Kendle can be used defensively. 🔥 THE CORE BEHIND THE DEFENSE Before looking at the complete teams, there's one combination you'll see repeatedly: DORIAN • KENDLE • AIDAN And there's a reason. This core takes advantage of Health Sacrifice, sustain and survivability while giving Kendle time for her mechanics to develop. On defense, you don't necessarily need to destroy the opponent immediately. Sometimes you need to survive. Stabilize. Force the enemy deeper into the battle. And then… make them regret not killing you earlier. 🛡️ TEAM 1 — SURVIVE & PUNISH Cleaver • Byrna • Dorian • Kendle • Aidan This is our more structured defensive setup. 🪝 Cleaver anchors and disrupts the frontline. 💚 Byrna provides another serious damage threat. 🩸 Dorian keeps the team recovering. 🔥 Aidan adds protection and Health-based synergy. 💥 Kendle gets the time she needs to become dangerous. This defense isn't built around one immediate explosion. It's designed to absorb pressure, stabilize and punish. The longer it survives, the more uncomfortable the battle can become. 🔥 TEAM 2 — KAYLA JOINS THE CHAOS Cleaver • Kayla • Dorian • Kendle • Aidan Same defensive backbone. Completely different threat. Replacing Byrna with Kayla introduces much more aggression and gives the opponent another problem that simply cannot be ignored. 🔥 Kayla applies pressure. 🪝 Cleaver disrupts. 🩸 Dorian sustains. ❤️ Aidan supports the machine. 💥 Kendle continues developing her own threat. Now the attacker isn't solving one win condition. They're trying to control Kayla AND Kendle while breaking through the sustain behind them. And once the complete machinery starts moving, things can get ugly very quickly. ⚡ TEAM 3 — NO TRADITIONAL TANK?! Electra • Byrna • Dorian • Kendle • Aidan And now we throw away the traditional Cleaver frontline entirely. This configuration is much more aggressive. ⚡ Electra brings offensive pressure and utility. 💚 Byrna adds another damage source. 🩸 Dorian becomes even more important for sustain. 🔥 Aidan helps hold the structure together. 💥 Kendle needs enough time for her mechanics to take control. At first glance, the absence of a traditional tank can make this lineup look vulnerable. But that's exactly what makes it interesting. The objective isn't to stand there forever. SURVIVE LONG ENOUGH TO BECOME THE PROBLEM. 💡 WHY THESE THREE TEAMS? We've tested other Kendle combinations, and several can produce excellent results in specific matchups. But when looking at the overall consistency and performance we've seen so far, these three base configurations have stood out. And they also give us three different approaches: 🛡️ Cleaver + Byrna — Defensive stability and sustained pressure 🔥 Cleaver + Kayla — Stability with much more aggression ⚡ Electra + Byrna — Tankless pressure and offensive risk The common denominator? DORIAN + KENDLE + AIDAN That is the defensive core we're paying very close attention to. 🎯 WHY THIS MATTERS Defense is different from Attack. On Attack, you choose the opponent. On Defense, the opponent chooses how they're going to attack you. That means consistency, survivability and forcing difficult decisions become incredibly valuable. A good defensive team isn't simply one that looks powerful. It's one that makes your opponent stop… think… test… and potentially get the answer wrong. And Kendle is already giving us some very interesting tools to create exactly that situation. 🔬 TESTING CONTINUES These are our current Top 3, not the end of Kendle team building. She's still a relatively new Hero. More combinations will appear. Different counters will be discovered. And some of today's configurations may evolve as testing continues.
