Ep. 152 Shiny things work better, new Arch build in Trinidad Oct'24

Ep 152 We can't pass up a new Arch build in Trinidad Oct'24. After being forced to run to Trinidad for a hurricane we found reasonable rates to replace the standing rigging and chain plates as well as build a coveted ARCH. The arch allows us to get the dingy up higher to avoid swamping from a wave, it is more secure on the back of the boat and less chance of damage to our solar panels. It allows us to travel short calm distances with out removing the motor from the dingy, and to quickly lift and lock at night to avoid theft of the dink as well. As with most Caribbean projects it was not timely, but we got it done in time to leave the marina.
