On October 22nd 2026, Electrify Now and the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC) hosted webinars to launch the ETC’s briefing note, “Electrifying the Global Economy: Coordinating Clean Power and Demand at Scale”: https://www.energy-transitions.org/pu... The webinars built momentum behind the COP31 “35 by 35” electrification target – raising electricity’s share of global final energy demand from around 21% today to 35% by 2035 – and recommended action plans for countries to achieve this target.
