Tagah Tribute

Tagah was an airbending master and a nationalist leader of the Air Nomads during the era of Sonam. Originally born without the ability to bend the elements, Tagah received the gift of airbending from Avatar Sonam, serving as her primary disciple. His service during the war between the Air Nomads and the Earth Kingdom led him to witness the brutal deaths of many of his brothers and sisters. Embittered and disillusioned, he rebelled against Sonam and seized her staff to create an airbending army that would defend his people from external threats. Tagah mortally wounded Sonam before being sealed within an energy prison inside Mount Baihu. After approximately 5,000 years, he was accidentally released by Avatar Aang. Despite his rigid beliefs, Tagah was neither needlessly cruel nor incapable of reflection. His determination to ensure the Air Nomads were never again annihilated gradually eclipsed the pacifist ideals he once championed, leading him to believe that strength and military supremacy were the only means to guarantee his people's survival. This conviction made him inflexible and willing to sacrifice both his principles and the well-being of others in pursuit of his goal.
