The 27th Season of South Park began airing on July 23 and so far the entire season has focused on Donald Trump and/or his policies. Normally, this would be just fine, Trump deserves all the jokes and criticism he gets. However, what is curious is that political humor seemed to be completely absent from South Park between 2020 and 2025 – and not a single joke was made about Joe Biden or Kamala Harris in all that time. Not one. Why is it that South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker lampooned Trump for the entirety of his 1st term, and have thus far done so for his second term, while conveniently taking a sabbatical from political satire during Biden’s 4-year run? Weird? Join us as we dive into South Park Season 27, and compare it to previous seasons.
