This morning, while traveling from Lucknow to Sultanpur, five vehicles in Rahul's convoy collided on the Purvanchal Expressway, including an ambulance. On March 23, 2023, a trial court in Surat convicted Rahul Gandhi in a 2019 criminal defamation case involving PM Modi's nickname, sentencing him to two years' imprisonment. He subsequently lost his membership.
