Just two days after being hammered by severe turbulence, nature offered a full redemption. The visual cues and forecasts matched the previous flight almost exactly, but the actual flying conditions were flawless. I was struck by how close the June 2026 Logan Lake fire burned to the village. Facing the same danger twice in five years must have been deeply unsettling. Overall, it was a beautiful flight with striking scenery below.
