Stallions - Socializing Stallion with a Gelding

Stallions often lead a very lonely life, but it doesn't have to be that way. In nature stallions that lost their harem, or don't have their own harem yet, form bachelor bands. With this in mind and taking mares out of the equation, there is no reason why stallions could not socialize with other stallions or geldings. Allogrooming is considered an ethological need. Horses need socialization with other horses in order to live a happy life. This is day 2 of socialization of a 5 year old Arabian stallion and a 5 year old Belgian cross gelding. Both still in their own brand new paddock, never grazed by horses before and both arrived on the same day. There are no mares around and that leaves nothing to fight over.
