Hounslow Council’s Direct Payments service

Hounslow Council’s Direct Payments service supports more than 700 people in our borough who have a disability to live independently. The service works with residents, their families and carers to develop a package of support that is unique to the individual. Crucially, Direct Payments put the resident right at the heart of the process, giving them control over their own care. This video, created by the Direct Payments Team, explains how the service works and follows the stories of some of the many local people who have benefited.
