'India Won't Bend': Jaishankar’s Blunt Message To Trump, Rubio | Starlink | Russian Oil I Musk

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio returns to India from October 17 to 22. His visit comes as India-US ties face three pressure points: Russian oil, a stalled trade deal and Elon Musk’s Starlink dispute. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has drawn a clear line. India has a strategic partnership with the United States, but it is not a formal ally. Washington is pushing India over Russian energy purchases, even as the Trump administration has approved a Russian diesel deal for the United States. Trade talks have reached a plateau, with both sides still divided over tariffs and market access. Musk has accused unnamed Indian oligarchs of blocking Starlink and asked whether Mukesh Ambani is the real boss of India. New Delhi called the charge baseless and misconceived. This video explains what Rubio wants, what India is defending and why the visit could become a test of strategic autonomy. #rubio #indiausrelations #jaishankar #russianoil #starlink #elonmusk #mukeshambani #tradedeal #trump #india #geopolitics #timesaxis #toi AXIS is where the world is explained through India’s lens. For decades, global narratives have been shaped by Western media... told through Washington, London or Beijing. That’s where AXIS comes in. We decode global power shifts, wars and conflicts, the India-China rivalry, Pakistan, West Asia, oil shocks, trade battles and neighbourhood politics - with one key question: What does this mean for India and for you?
