End of an Era in Norwich, Connecticut | Former Lamperelli Barber Shop Demolished

A documentary record of the former building on West Main Street in Norwich, Connecticut, long known to locals by the name Lamperelli — home to Lamperelli Barber Shop for decades, and before that, a spot where music lessons were once taught. In more recent years the space operated as Garage Barber Shop, but longtime residents still referred to it by its original name. This footage spans from the building's final days still standing, through the aftermath of each stage of its removal, to the eventual demolition of the structure and the filling and steamrolling of the foundation. No active demolition work was captured — only the progression from full structure to complete removal, shot at different points as work was completed. Filming took place from June through late July 2026.
