Newborn use 2.5mm hook with #3 or DK yarn 0-3M use 3mm hook with #3 or DK yarn 3-6M I used 3.5mm hook with #3 or DK yarn 6-9M use 4mm hook with #3 or DK yarn 9-12M use 4.5mm hook with #33 or DK yarn For these crochet baby bloomers, crochet baby shorts or crochet diaper cover I used DK baby yarn by James C Brett brand. If you’re in the US you can use any #3 baby yarn with a 3.5mm Crochet hook. I used about 50 grams of baby yarn. Approx.
