What Does the Bible Require When Religion Is Being Misused? (Episode 3) When I speak about abuse, manipulation, or corruption inside The Potter’s House, I am often accused of being bitter, divisive, rebellious, or dishonest. But this video is here to make one thing clear, my goal is not to attack for the sake of attacking. My goal is to follow what Scripture actually says Christians are supposed to do when religion is being misused. Many believers have been taught that the most Christian response is to stay quiet, forgive, pray, and move on. But the Bible does not teach silence in the face of spiritual abuse. It teaches truth, discernment, accountability, and the exposing of darkness. In this episode, I look at whether biblical warnings about false teaching and unfruitful works can apply to The Potter’s House, what the New Testament commands Christians to do when leaders cause harm, whether Jesus and the apostles responded to religious corruption with silence or confrontation, and why speaking out is so often dismissed as bitterness when it is actually obedience. If you are a current member, a former member, or someone trying to understand these issues biblically, this video is for you. Bring an open Bible, test every claim, and think for yourself.
