It is much more than just a place — it is where traditions, relationships, and community come together. During Deepavali, we celebrate a special ritual of worshipping our cows, honoring them for all that they give us. In the evening, people bring their hori (bulls) to the katte, where races are held, stories are shared, and villagers gather to greet one another. Times have changed, and many of these traditions have slowly faded. But in our village, Danabaila Katte still brings people together. It is one of those rare places where old friendships are renewed, childhood memories come alive, and the spirit of the village continues to thrive.
