Are you a skilled worker hoping to get Permanent Residence in British Columbia, Canada?
In this video, I explain the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) and the Skills Immigration pathway for workers, including the Skilled Worker stream and other important information you need to understand before applying.
The BC PNP is an economic immigration program that allows British Columbia to nominate eligible workers, entrepreneurs and businesses that can help meet the province's labour market and economic development needs. Successful provincial nominees can then apply to the federal government for Canadian permanent residence.
In this video, I explain:

✅ How BC PNP can lead to Permanent Residence
✅ The BC PNP Skills Immigration pathway
✅ The Skilled Worker stream
✅ The Health Authority stream
✅ Who may qualify under the Skilled Worker pathway
✅ Job offer requirements

For the Skilled Worker stream, the current WelcomeBC information states that applicants generally need an eligible job offer in a NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation, a full-time indeterminate job offer from an eligible B.C. employer, employer support, the required occupational qualifications, at least two years of full-time-equivalent work experience, and at least Canadian Language Benchmark 4, subject to the complete program rules and exceptions.
The Skills Immigration process generally involves:
