1992 Dodge Ram Interior Updates | Dash Swap, New Stereo & LED Lights

Our 1992 Dodge Ram is getting some much-needed interior updates! With a long road trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming, coming up, we decided to tackle several projects that had been on our list for a while. The floor is starting to crack again, and although those repairs will have to wait, we were already tearing into the interior, so we figured it was a good time to take care of a few other things. In this video, we're swapping out the dashboard with one from my grandpa's Dodge, installing a new radio and speakers, replacing the instrument cluster bulbs with AUXBEAM 194 LEDs, and temporarily installing a bench seat until we're ready to put the bucket seats and new carpet back in. The dashboard swap is more than just replacing an old part. It allows us to keep a piece of family history in a truck we continue to use and enjoy. Between that and a few modern conveniences, we're making the interior a little more comfortable and functional without losing its old-school character. There's still work to be done, including addressing the floor and finishing the seating and carpet, but those projects will come later.
