📔 DESCRIPTION 📔 Take a ride in the cab of the TTC's (‪@OfficialTTCchannel‬) Line 2 subway, in real-time, from Kennedy Station to Kipling Station. The TTC's Line 2 subway opened its first segment in 1966 and has been extended twice since, with extensions opening in 1968 and 1980. Line 2, at the time of this video, is just over 26km long and has 31 stations. Construction has recently begun on the third extension of Line 2 from Kennedy Station to the intersection of Sheppard and McCowan which will have three new stations and completely replace the TTC's aging Line 3 rapid transit line. The new extension is expected to begin service sometime around 2029 or 2030. All footage captured in this video was recorded on July 6, 2022. All filming was completed under authorization from the Toronto Transit Commission.
