👉 Want to see these ploughs in action?   • *Rare* Independent Snowploughs deployed in...   In this video we see a pair of snowploughs being transported back to Inverness by two class 37s, 37421 and 37219. The reason for this move was to return the ploughs back to Inverness after they were taken south to Eastriggs for summer maintenance. Usually they are returned North much later in the year, however for some reason this year was different with them being transported in the middle of August. This is likely due to Colas's locomotives being occupied due to RHTT season from October through to December. in previous years this resulted in Colas Rail having to hire WCRC locomotives in order to return the ploughs North. We also see some other action around inverness and surrounding areas including freight, test trains, sleepers, and more!
